We are man.
The Barbarian and The Brilliant. The hot-blooded and The Shitter of Bricks. And more than occasionally, The Broken.
We've had it good. And still do. But in the shadows, there are cracks.
They scream, "Take the killer spider out of the house." "But don't kill it."
Be the protector. Be strong. But please — be vulnerable too.
So we cry.
“Don't be a baby about it.”
We fight for a better world. “Just stop fighting.”
Everything asks us to be two things at once. And somehow, we are. That's not weakness. That's the most complicated thing a human being can do.
Balance isn't soft. As Bruce Lee said, “balance is power.”
Some days it's easy. Some days, oh, it will be hard.
So keep it simple. Everything is a habit. To improve ourselves, we improve our habits. The small things, done daily, beat everything.
Manrey is here for both versions of you. The one who has it together. And the one who's working on it.
You just have to have the balls to look after yourself.
MANREY
Three hearts.
One man.
All of them need looking after.
The octopus has three hearts. So does a Manrey man.
Heart one is the one that beats for you.
Your body, your skin, your sleep, your stillness. The radical act of caring for yourself – not for anyone else’s eyes, but because you are the instrument everything else plays through. This is where it starts; if this heart burns out, the other two don’t get a chance.
Heart two is the one that serves.
The part of you that shows up for other people. The friend who answers the late‑night call, the man who sets the table, carries the bags, does the unglamorous, necessary thing. To serve is not weakness; it’s one of the strongest, most deliberate choices a man can make.
Heart three is the one that beats when you’re truly alive. Not just “purpose,” but joy. The heart that wakes up when you’re on a beach with friends, laughing over nothing, playing with your kids, lost in a hobby, or doing something purely for fun. It’s the part of you that remembers you’re more than your calendar and your to‑do list.
Manrey exists to look after all three hearts – the one that keeps you going, the one that gives to others, and the one that refuses to forget what makes you feel most alive.
